Each
of these trips is planned individually to the services you require, time of the
year and number of people in the party. Let us know your needs and we will
quote you a price.
Boats and Motors:
We rent 16-ft Lund Big Water Boats with 25 HP motors. The
boats are all outfitted for three people and have swivel seats, wood floors,
paddle, full safety kit and life jackets.
Boats and motors are rented at $100/boat day.
Inquire about our 18-foot Lund boat with 50 HP motor at
$150. Day.
All boating equipment and motors are renters FULL
responsibility.
Hunting &
Vacation Trip Information
Deposits are required to hold your
chosen dates and are 25% of the trip total.
Deposits received will be acknowledged
with remaining balance, dates and service ordered.
All checks sent 12 weeks or sooner
before start of the trip, need to be certified.
Except for deposit we do Not accept
personal checks.
Trip cost balances are due upon
arrival in cash or cashier check.
Regular rates are charged for late
arrivals and early departures.
Rates are subject to HST taxes.
Nonresidents of Canada that have paid deposits are eligible for reduced HST
taxes on their bill. Nonresidents without deposits can apply for a rebate.
In the event you or members of your
party need to cancel we will gladly rebook your time in any available spot we
have in the year of your reservation.
Rates are discounted for parties over
eight persons.
Discounts are given for staying more
than seven days.
Our rates are based on taking one boat
trip to outpost and return for entire party.
Additional boat trips to
Kenora can be arranged at a nominal fee.
All hunting & fishing licenses are
purchased before leaving the dock at the start of your trip.
You must have a hunting license from
your state/country in order to purchase any Ontario Hunting License. Dont
leave home without it!
All equipment must be left in clean
and working condition or extra charges apply.
Guests are responsible for all
physical damage to equipment including housekeeping cottages and boats/motors.
Guests that are interested in fishing
are encouraged to purchase a Conservation Fishing Permit and practice selective harvesting of fish. A
minimum eight-day Ontario Conservation fishing license and card is sold at $37.
This is around half the price of a regular fishing license. Children under 16
can fish under an adults license. There is excellent fishing in close
proximity to the outpost. Also, there are two canoes available for guest use at
no charge. Just ask. Life jackets are required and supplied.
Land transfer services from
International Falls, Winnipeg or Kenora airports can be arranged.
Private Boats
We do not charge extra for
docking. If electric is needed for charging batteries just the cost of gasoline
for the generator is charged to you.
Estimate your boat
gasoline requirements needed from us and let us know in advance so adequate
supplies are on hand for your use.
If transportation/guiding
services to and from island outpost are not required a discount can be given.
Clearwater Bay is the closest government boat launch.
What
to Bring:
Personal items including warm clothing, rain gear, swimsuit, medicines, cell
phone if required, pocket flashlight, camera, film, and hunting/fishing
equipment. U.S. visitors require proof of citizenship and photo ID/driver's
license or a passport. A valid passport is required upon returning to the USA.

When entering Canada, you are allowed to bring a 40-oz. bottle of liquor or a
case of beer, plus one carton of cigarettes per person.
No handguns, fully automatic, or weapons under 26 inches in length are
permitted.
Weapons of all types must be declared.
Northwest Airlines, Air Canada and WestJet are major commercial airlines flying
in to Winnipeg.
Northwest Airlines also has commercial service to International Falls,
Minnesota and a shuttle service or rental car is arranged for transportation
into Kenora from either airport.
